Drawing from a vast pool of job postings, fit paints an updated picture of Malaysia&#8217;s e-recruitment trends.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hiring Snapshot<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In August 2023, Malaysia&#8217;s job demand rose by a modest 1% from July. While recent months showed steady trends, noteworthy month-to-month growth in diverse sectors indicates renewed vigor in the job market.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<br><strong>Sectoral Highlights<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In Demand:<\/strong> Hospitality led August&#8217;s triumph with a phenomenal +88% YoY growth. Close on its heels was Retail, boasting a +63% growth, primarily fueled by luxury e-commerce. Logistics and Shipping sectors further strengthened their stance with a +25% uptick.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Challenges: <\/strong>Some sectors braved headwinds. The IT and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.my\/search\/bpo-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"BPO sectors \">BPO sectors <\/a><\/strong>witnessed an -18% dip, mirroring global patterns. Sales &amp; Business Development (+34%) and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.my\/search\/marketing-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Marketing\">Marketing<\/a><\/strong> &amp; Communications (+11%) roles also showcased sturdy YoY growth trajectories.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Facing Headwinds: <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Customer Service experienced a sharp -44% YoY decrease, leading the decline among all functions.
