Job Summary

This role will be responsible for supporting statutory reporting, intercompany accounting, and consolidation activities for multiple countries/entities within a Global Shared Services environment.

The Accountant will work closely with the Corporate Finance team, internal RTR team, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. This position reports directly to the RTR Manager and works alongside with other accountants within the RTR organization.

Key Responsibilities

Support statutory reporting activities, including preparation of financial statements, schedules, and audit support for assigned countries/entities
Coordinate with all stakeholders ensuring intercompany balances are fully reconciled and tie out at month end
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidation processes and reporting requirements
Review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and resolve reconciling items promptly
Assist in preparation of management reports, reporting schedules, and variance analysis
Work closely with Corporate Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and local finance teams to support reporting and close activities.
Support internal and external audit requests by preparing supporting documentation and responding to inquiries
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, statutory requirements, and internal controls
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and reporting accuracy
Support ERP implementation, migration, and enhancement projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CPA, MIA, ICAEW or equivalent
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, consolidation, intercompany accounting, or RTR functions
Knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles; exposure to US GAAP is a plus
Experience handling multi-country/entity reporting and consolidation preferred
ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
