We're looking for a highly creative and culturally tuned Multimedia Designer to support the marketing and growth of local original Malay entertainment content across digital, social, in-app, and on-ground campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who understands Malay audience trends, entertainment culture, social-first storytelling, and is able to move fluidly between static design, motion, and video editing.

You'll be working on campaigns for drama launches, entertainment IPs, celebrity content, social activations, and platform marketing materials.

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable based on performance and business needs)

Key responsibilities:

Design & Creative Production

Design digital assets for:

Social media campaigns
In-app banners & promotional placements
Performance marketing creatives
App landing pages & campaign key visuals

Design print materials including:

Event backdrops
Standees
Mall activation visuals
Merchandise
POSM materials

Video Editing & Motion Content

Edit short-form and long-form videos for:

Drama trailers
Teasers
Social reels / TikTok edits
Promo cuts
Event recap videos
Ad mockups & branded integrations

AI-Assisted Creative Production

Utilize AI tools to accelerate creative workflows, ideation, moodboarding, image generation, visual enhancement, subtitle generation, or editing support
Explore new AI-powered creative techniques and tools to improve efficiency and output quality.

Requirements:

2–4 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia, video editing, animated content, creative content.
Strong understanding of Malay content, entertainment culture, drama audiences, and social media trends.

Proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
CapCut
Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator (preferred)

Comfortable working across:

Static design
Motion graphics
Video editing
Social-first content
Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment and campaign environment.
Work closely with Marketing, Content, and Partnership teams to understand creative briefs and deliver projects on time.
Strong sense of pacing, music, typography, meme culture, and audience engagement.

Bonus Points

Animation or motion design skills.
Experience designing for entertainment, streaming, music, or media brands.
Familiarity with TikTok, Reels, Xiaohongshu, and viral social content styles.
Photography or videography experience.
Understanding of fandom culture and KOL/influencer content.
Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.
