The role

Teradata is building the APJ Growth Engine — a focused new business team with a clear mandate: acquire new enterprise customers and build a repeatable, outcome-driven go-to-market motion across Asia Pacific and Japan.

As a New Logo Compute Engine Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle — from first engagement through close and early workload activation. This is not a farming role. It is a true hunting role for sellers who thrive in new territories, move with urgency, and win complex enterprise deals by leading with business outcomes.

You will be one of the founding members of this team. What you build here will help shape how Teradata sells, scales, and wins across APJ and beyond.

What You Will Do

Build, own, and manage your pipeline across targeted enterprise accounts in your territory
Lead the full sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, value framing, technical demonstration, commercial negotiation, and close
Qualify and advance opportunities with a clear focus on business outcomes, consumption fit, and long-term customer value — not deal size alone
Drive early workload activation after close to build momentum for retention, adoption, and expansion
Partner with Solution Architects to deliver compelling, technically credible demonstrations that bring customer outcomes to life
Contribute to the APJ Growth Engine playbook by capturing what works and helping turn successful motions into repeatable scale

Who You Will Work With

You will be part of a dedicated New Logo team with direct access to Customer Solution Architects, Sales Leadership, and Sales Operations. The team has executive sponsorship and represents a strategic investment for Teradata — giving you strong visibility, support, and the backing needed to win at the highest level.

What We Are Looking For

Experience:

Proven track record in B2B software, data, cloud, or analytics sales, with a strong preference for new logo hunters
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles involving technical and business buyers
Confidence in running pilots, proof-of-concepts, and technical demonstrations that translate platform capability into customer value
Exposure to early-stage go-to-market motions or greenfield territory development is a strong advantage
Direct experience working in the Vietnam market with enterprise customers and local system integration partners
Ideally, experience selling consumption-based solutions and driving sustained customer consumption

Strong discovery skills, with the ability to connect customer pain points to technical outcomes and measurable business value
Commercial discipline — you qualify rigorously, close with precision, and protect deal quality
Technical fluency in data and AI, with the credibility to engage technical stakeholders and confidently lead a demonstration
Adaptability — you operate effectively in ambiguity, build as you go, and move quickly with purpose
Fluency in Vietnamese and English
