Transaction Monitoring Operations Lead

Our client is a growing digital payments and financial services business operating across payments, foreign exchange, digital assets and cross-border financial services.

As the business continues to scale, they are looking for a Transaction Monitoring Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day transaction monitoring function and lead a small operations team.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for the end-to-end transaction monitoring operations, covering alert review, investigations, case management, escalation, quality assurance and operational reporting.

You will work closely with Compliance, AML, Risk, Product, Operations and Technology teams to ensure transaction monitoring controls remain effective, risk-based and operationally efficient.

What We're Looking For

5-8+ years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML operations, financial crime investigations or related functions.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Experience within payments, banking, fintech, digital assets, crypto, remittance or financial services is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of AML/CFT and transaction monitoring typologies.
Analytical, decisive and comfortable handling complex/high-risk cases.
Experience with TM/case management systems; blockchain analytics exposure is a plus.
CAMS, ICA or similar certification is advantageous.
