Position Summary

The Manufacturing Executive is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising daily manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production operations within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role monitors production schedules, manages workforce allocation, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets, cycle time, yield, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

Coordinate and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required to optimize equipment utilization and manufacturing capacity.
Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Manage production priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts to minimize delays and bottlenecks.
Track work-in-progress (WIP) movement and ensure adherence to manufacturing timelines.

Production Supervision

Supervise manufacturing operators and technicians to ensure achievement of production targets.
Monitor shop-floor activities to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Conduct shift briefings and provide guidance to production teams on daily operational requirements.
Ensure adequate manpower allocation and workforce productivity across production lines.
Address production issues promptly and escalate critical concerns when necessary.

Quality & Process Compliance

Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with semiconductor industry quality standards and customer requirements.
Monitor production yield, scrap rates, and process performance indicators.
Support investigations of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and records.

Operational Excellence

Analyze production performance data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence programs.
Participate in equipment downtime reviews and coordinate recovery plans with Engineering and Maintenance teams.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with company safety policies, EHS regulations, and cleanroom requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture and conduct regular safety observations and audits.
Ensure operators adhere to proper cleanroom protocols and manufacturing regulations.

Reporting & Communication

Prepare and present production performance reports, including output, yield, cycle time, and utilization metrics.
Communicate production status, issues, and recovery plans to management and cross-functional stakeholders.
Participate in production meetings and support strategic manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry is preferred.
Prior experience in production scheduling, workforce supervision, and manufacturing operations management.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and production flow.
Understanding of production planning and scheduling methodologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production reporting tools.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and decision-making capability.
