Job Description:

  • The Vendor or 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) Management team ensures the parcel journey from marketplace sellers to the handover to logistics partners, and eventually delivery to the buyers is as efficient and seamless as possible, without sacrificing the user experience.
  • Drive on-going deep dives and come up with recommendations on how to optimize the current set up or highlight key areas to negotiate with 3PLs.
  • Maintain KPIs for each 3PL operational process showing performance against targets, explaining variances & trending changes, identifying action plans & driving for short & long term solutions.
  • Responsible for working with the Data Analytics team to verify and monitor 3PL delivery capacity by generating capacity reports, including actual volume and current capacity gaps.
  • Ensure the capacity planning document is properly updated, and inform regarding capacity issues that might disrupt 3PL operations.
  • Work closely with the Volume Allocation team in campaigns preparation, supply accurate on-ground intel to help with forecasting analysis.
  • Coordinate with the cross-functional team such as Business Development and Customer Experience team to understand the overall sentiment and NPS score in order to track, monitor, initiate and execute improvement plans with 3PL.
  • Align within the Logistics team on a standardized SLA for all 3PL contracts - Delivery, Payment terms, Lost & damaged claims, and COD remittance windows.
  • Engage with Claims & Finance teams to balance shortfalls in 3PL invoice checks, continuous improvement on terms & SOPs (lost, damaged, overcharge shipping fee, SLA breaches etc.)
  • Evaluate logistics projects for cost optimization, competitive services, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive end-to-end integration of new vendors, negotiate competitive rates and better delivery SLA to reduce platform shipping cost and improve overall performance.
  • Responsible for ongoing review with 3PL on the SOPs and amend accordingly from time to time (if needed)


  • Candidates with at least 3-5 years of working experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or freight forwarding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deal cross-functional
  • Energetic, action-oriented, positive approach to problem solving with analytical skill, has passion in the eCommerce industry
  • Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently
  • A good negotiation skill will be helpful to deal with 3PL to eventually align with proposal & future direction from top management
  • Flexible in working with fast phase environment & driven by result
