Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and highly qualified Academic Consultants to provide expert guidance and mentorship for postgraduate research, including Master's and PhD theses. The ideal candidate will also support researchers in publishing high-quality manuscripts in Scopus- and Web of Science (WoS)-indexed journals while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and scholarly excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive consultation and supervision for Master's and PhD research projects.
  • Guide clients through the complete publication process for Scopus- and WoS-indexed journals, from manuscript preparation to submission.
  • Assist with research proposal development, research design, data collection strategies, statistical or qualitative data analysis, and academic manuscript writing.
  • Review, edit, and provide constructive feedback on all five thesis chapters to enhance academic quality and coherence.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional guidelines, academic writing standards, citation styles (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago), and target journal requirements.
  • Mentor researchers in strengthening the quality, originality, and publishability of their research.
  • Manage multiple research projects independently while meeting agreed timelines in a remote working environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree in a closely related field.
  • Proven record as the first (lead) author of at least one article published in a Scopus- or Web of Science (WoS)-indexed journal.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic consulting, postgraduate supervision, or research mentoring.
  • Excellent command of academic writing, research methodology, and international scholarly publishing standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with one or more of the following will have an added advantage:

  • Quantitative Research: Proficiency in IBM SPSS, SmartPLS, AMOS, or other statistical analysis software.
  • Qualitative Research: Experiencec using NVivo, ATLAS.ti, MAXQDA, or manual thematic/content analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Python, R, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or software engineering.
  • A strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications in reputable international journals.
  • Experience across interdisciplinary research projects and academic publishing.
