What will be your responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Accountant Executive is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company's financial operations. This role involves preparing reports, handling accounts payable/receivable, and assisting with audits and tax submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with SST, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies when required.
- Support implementation of e-Invoicing and other digital finance initiatives.
This is the profile we are looking for
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SQL, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
