Develop & execute a comprehensive sales plan for the assigned territory, product line, business division, and market segment.
Optimize customer base regarding portfolio sales & value proposition and long-term success.
Manage all aspects of customer interface within responsibilities.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, with frequent face-to-face visits to foster strong relationships.
Conduct and conclude commercial negotiations (price, payment terms, etc.) with customers.
Pricing, Market Insights & Strategy Alignment
Coordinate pricing strategies in close collaboration with the OPP Sales Leader (VP AP), Product Management, and Business/Application Development
Conduct and coordinate market analyses to support company and principal objectives, providing insights for future product needs and market opportunities.
Provide relevant and timely market information as required
Pipeline & Opportunity Management
Manage the lead pipeline and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline within the assigned territory.
Track, update, and report on business opportunities, new projects, and market developments on both regular and ad‑hoc bases.
Account Management & Customer Engagement
Manage all aspects of the customer interface, including complaint handling and resolution.
Maintain strong and enduring customer relationships through frequent face‑to‑face interactions and proactive engagement.
Prepare written reports detailing account status, activities, opportunities, and planned actions to support business development and alignment with internal stakeholders.
Internal Communication & Collaboration
Ensure effective communication and alignment among Sales Managers, the Business Leader, and Product Managers regarding business opportunities, market progress, and key customer developments.
Work collaboratively to support the introduction of new products and facilitate strategic initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Polymer Science or equivalent in a related field.
A Master's degree (e.g. MBA or MSc) is considered an added advantage.
Experience
At least more than 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a B2B environment.
Experience in the Polymer industry is a mandatory.
Knowledge And Skills
Must be adept at negotiation and customer service.
Creative and critical thinking skills.
Proven initiative in identifying and progressing new business opportunities.
Good presentation skills.
Thorough understanding of the industry.
Self-motivated, independent and result oriented.
Other Requirements
Possess a valid driving license.
Excellent command of both oral and written local language and English is required.
Additional languages will be beneficial.
Ability & willingness to travel extensively within the assign territory and work a flexible schedule to include evenings and overnight accommodation.
