Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including schedules and supporting documents.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
- Prepare relevant financial information and schedules for tax filing purposes.
- Process monthly payments and assist in treasury-related matters, including cash flow monitoring.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming accounting documents such as invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, government authorities, and bankers on statutory compliance and banking matters.
- Ensure proper filing, documentation, and safe storage of all accounting and finance-related records in accordance with company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Perform other ad hoc accounting or departmental tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity within the Property Development industry.
- Proficient in accounting software; experience with IFCA is highly preferred.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage.
- Working Location: Hua Yang Berhad (HQ)
