What You Will Expect:
This role supports the Appointed Actuary function, particularly in building the foundation for RBC2 implementation while supporting ongoing BAU reporting and capital management requirements.
What You Will Do:
RBC2 Readiness
- Support gap analysis and impact assessment of RBC2 requirements against existing processes.
- Assist in developing reporting templates, methodologies, and documentation to support future RBC2 implementation.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and other stakeholders on RBC2 readiness initiatives.
Capital Management & Monitoring
- Support monthly capital monitoring and preparation of capital management reports.
- Prepare worksheets, perform data validation, and investigate key movements in capital metrics.
- Assist in stress testing and other capital-related analyses.
Regulatory Reporting
- Provide support for statutory valuation, regulatory reporting, and other capital-related submissions.
- Prepare supporting schedules, analyses, and documentation for BNM and Group Office requirements.
Others
- Prepare worksheets for other appointed actuary related tasks such as for the Financial Condition Report and other BNM related statistics.
- Prepare statistical reports and trend analyses.
- Support process improvements, documentation, and other ad hoc projects as required.
What You Will Need:
- Degree in quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics.
- Candidates with 1-2 years of related working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Good programming skills would be preferred, e.g. SAS, SQL, R, VBA, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher).
- Positive attitude and good problem-solver.
- Innovative, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
