AI Governance Specialist – Platforms & Controls

Job Requirements

·      Support development and operationalization of the AI governance framework and related governance requirements to ensure AI solutions operate within defined guardrails and controls

·      Provide governance advisory for AI solutions built on enterprise platforms, particularly within Microsoft and cloud ecosystems, to ensure appropriate guardrails, security controls, and governance mechanisms are implemented across AI lifecycle 

·      Assess platform guardrails and controls including those relating to identity and access control, data protection and tenant isolation, encryption and key management, and content filtering and safety mechanisms, and logging and monitoring

·      Support embedding governance-by-design within AI development processes

·      Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including data & AI, cloud and infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams

·      Research and monitor emerging AI governance trends, best practices, guardrails and controls to support robust governance

Education, Experience, Specific Skills & Competencies

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: AI governance, technology risk management, cloud governance, AI/ data platform implementation, or related function

Job Specific Skills & Competencies Required

·      Understanding of AI risks and responsible AI practices

·      Familiar with enterprise AI platforms, cloud architecture, and system guardrails including Microsoft enterprise technology ecosystem and governance capabilities (e.g. Azure AI services, Microsoft Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, Power Platform)

·      Able to translate technical platform controls into governance requirements

·      Able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

·      Strong communication skills

·      Self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong work ethics

·      Prior experience in financial services industry is preferred
