About Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Android) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java or Kotlin.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into clean, efficient code.
- Build new features and enhance existing application functionality.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and JSON-based data flows.
- Apply MVVM or Clean Architecture principles.
- Work with Android Jetpack components.
- Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and stability.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Participate in peer code reviews and propose technical improvements.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of hands-on Android mobile application development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java or Kotlin.
- Strong working knowledge of Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Experience implementing MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience working with Android Jetpack components.
- Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with SQLite or local storage.
