Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Check, sort, code and match invoices
  2. Process non-PO invoices in accordance with the Delegation of Authority
  3. Monitor and reconcile vendor statements to ensure payments are up to date
  4. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and complex issues
  5. Co-ordinate and participate in month end closing
  6. Ensure data accuracy
  7. Perform other ad-hoc tasks defined by the direct leader or above
  8. Handle queries through email or phone (both external and internal customers)
  9. Review payment runs to ensure data accuracy
  10. Produce and ensure accuracy of monthly reports (e.g. KPI, GRNI, AP Aging)
  11. Have a continuous follow up on aged items (e.g. GRNI, AP Aging)
  12. Provide trainings and coaching to Associate and Staff Accountants
  13. Ensure Desktop Procedure Documentation is up-to-date
  14. Recognize process deficiencies and suggest solutions
  15. Participate and lead smaller projects as required
  16. Provide guidance in prioritization to team members
  17. Handle and (in case required) escalate performance issues and errors occurred
  18. Lead calls and meetings
  19. Be the primary contact for the site, SV and other team members regarding any questions or process related issues

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years relevant experience
  2. Bachelor's Degree required, finance degree or Business degree preferred
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and any other language (as per required in role)
  4. Accounts payable experience in a Shared Service environment is preferred
  5. Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  6. Solid knowledge and experience using ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) is an advantage
  7. Proficient in data entry and management
  8. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
  9. Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues through root cause analysis
  10. Ability to cope with and drive process changes
  11. Ability to train and coach other team members
  12. Continuous improvement mindset (LEAN Six Sigma is an advantage)
  13. Ability to stay professional in challenging situations
  14. Ability to provide guidance in prioritization to team members
  15. Ability to coordinate a team of 2-5 members if required
  16. Candidates must be proficient in Thai, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
