We are looking for a forward-thinking Artificial Intelligence Consultant to lead and drive AI transformation initiatives across the Group. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI solutions that improve business efficiency, operational excellence, and digital innovation across multiple business functions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of the AI ecosystem, emerging technologies, and commercially available AI applications. They should be able to assess business needs, recommend suitable AI solutions, manage implementation projects, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors.
Hands-on AI development or programming experience is not mandatory, but candidates with technical AI implementation experience will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the Group's AI transformation roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify business opportunities where AI can improve productivity, decision-making, quality, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and applications to determine their suitability for operations.
- Engage with business users to understand operational challenges and translate them into AI solution opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end AI implementation projects, from business case development and vendor selection to deployment and post-implementation review.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Work closely with external AI solution providers, system integrators, and technology vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project performance, adoption rates, and measurable business outcomes.
- Keep abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate proof-of-concepts (POCs) and recommend scalable AI solutions for enterprise adoption.
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with company governance, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, digital transformation, IT transformation, or AI-related initiatives.
- Experience leading enterprise technology implementation projects.
- Experience managing external vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exposure to AI implementation, automation, analytics, or digital transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments is an added advantage.
