About the Company
We are a Malaysia-based fintech company building a regulated financial services ecosystem spanning remittance, digital payments, foreign exchange, and digital asset services under a single platform. The company is currently in its license application and regulatory engagement phase with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
Key Responsibilities
- Research and structure regulatory requirements including BNM, SC, AML/CFT, PDPA, and cybersecurity guidelines.
- Prepare requirement mapping tables and identify compliance gaps.
- Draft policies, SOPs, appendices, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct vendor, market, and competitor research within the fintech and cybersecurity ecosystem.
- Maintain document repositories, version control, and application trackers.
- Prepare meeting minutes and action items.
- Follow strict source verification and anti-hallucination practices when using AI tools.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in any field.
- Strong research and written English skills.
- Comfortable using AI tools responsibly and effectively.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Markdown is an advantage.
- Exposure to fintech, digital assets, or Malaysian financial regulations is a plus, but not required.
- Able to commit between 3 months and 6 months of internship
