Job Description

  • Negotiate with NPL/NPF customers to establish repayment plans and restructure or rehabilitate financing facilities to maximize recovery and minimize potential losses.
  • Collaborate with Receivers & Managers and other appointed consultants to implement turnaround strategies, oversee the management and disposal of charged assets where appropriate, and protect MDV's interests as a debenture holder.
  • Initiate and manage legal recovery proceedings, in consultation with appointed solicitors, when amicable negotiations are unsuccessful. This includes actions such as Judgment Debtor Summons, Garnishee Proceedings, Writ of Seizure and Sale, Winding-Up Proceedings, and Bankruptcy Proceedings.
  • Monitor and manage the quality of the NPL/NPF portfolio to prevent further asset deterioration, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and achieve the division's recovery and financial targets.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or its equivalent .
  • At least 3 of related work experience in Corporate Recovery & Rehabilitation, Auditing in Insolvency & Liquidation, or Litigation in Contract Law.
  • Good-to-have: Other credentials such as Certified Credit Professional or any other professional qualifications in accounting or banking.
  • Required knowledge: Credit, Loan Workout/Recovery for Insolvent Portfolios, Legal & Litigation Proceedings
  • Required skills:

a. Sound credit knowledge and loan rehabilitation/workout including rescheduling & restructuring as well as familiar with the workflow processes involved in CGC guaranteed financing.

b. Sound credit & financial analysis.

c. Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

d. Communication and negotiation.

e. IT (Excel, Power Point, Words, Outlook, Teams, CoPilot and other Microsoft programme, if any).
