If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as an Assistant Business Development Director (Junior Executive) for the Digital Affinity team.

Job Purpose

Executes sales strategy and activities to achieve target for GMBIS.

The Role:

  • Achieve sales targets through personal selling; company visitations and developing relationships with prospects.
  • Involve in sales optimization, business plan execution and business strategies implementation with the objective to achieve the given sales target.
  • Work closely with agency force by prioritizing agency business growth potential
  • Build and maintain relationship with business partner.
  • Actively involved in business presentation to potential clients and corporate clients
  • Execute worksite marketing and campaign.
  • Work with internal stakeholders i.e. Group Admin, Claims, Actuarial and other departments on business related issues.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
  • Other responsibilities entailed.

The Person:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree and above in any discipline and/or related.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in Financial Institutions.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Highly motivated, success driven and able to work independently.
  • Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English language will be advantage.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
