Role Description The Assistant Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Wings by Croske Resort Langkawi in Langkawi. This role supports the Finance Manager in overseeing daily finance operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger postings, and bank reconciliations. The Assistant Finance Manager helps prepare monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and monitors cash flow, cost controls, and revenue performance to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements, as well as coordinating with other departments on billing, purchasing, and cost management. The Assistant Finance Manager also assists in internal audits, variance analysis, financial process improvements, and provides guidance to finance team members.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable, ledger management, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
• Ability to interpret financial data, perform variance analysis, and support management with clear, data-driven insights.
• Understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Relevant experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on-site in Langkawi and maintain high ethical standards in all financial activities
