Job Description

Snapshot of the role:

The Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance is to support and manage the non QL Group entities in terms of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, and compliance functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining good internal controls and managing day-to-day finance operations.

(This role will be under Ruby Technique Sdn Bhd)

You are driven to:

  1. Prepare and ensure timely completion of monthly management accounts and financial reports
  2. Non-QL Group consolidation preparation
  3. Manage payment processing, invoicing and treasury operations
  4. Liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers on statutory and compliance matters
  5. Attending to all corporate tax related matters
  6. Admin support-tenancy review/ properties disposal matters and other admin related matters
  7. Labuan Tax Compliance -MITRF/Form C and other Labuan Compliance affairs
  8. Preparation of half year review reports for family meeting
  9. E-Invoicing/Stamp duty compliance & execution
  10. Responsible to any ad-hoc task assigned from time to time

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or professional equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • High accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
  • Sufficient knowledge in accounting
  • Familiarity with ERP system
  • A collaborative team player with a positive working attitude
  • Willing to be based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
