We're looking for an Assistant Manager, Product Management to drive our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) product portfolio. In this role, you'll own the product lifecycle - from identifying new market opportunities and developing business cases to managing portfolio performance and recommending product retirement.

What You'll Be Doing
Product Strategy
- Develop product portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Identify categories to enter, expand, or exit based on market opportunities.
- Define product positioning to maximise revenue, gross profit, and market share.
- Translate commercial objectives into actionable product priorities.
New Product Development (NPD)
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities through market research and consumer insights.
- Conduct market sizing, competitor benchmarking, and demand analysis.
- Develop product specifications, feature requirements, and pricing recommendations.
- Build business cases with revenue and gross profit projections.
- Work closely with suppliers to evaluate product specifications, commercial viability, and strategic fit.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Analyse product performance across online marketplaces and D2C channels.
- Benchmark product features, pricing, and positioning against competitors.
- Convert market insights into actionable recommendations for new product development and portfolio optimisation.
Product Lifecycle & Portfolio Management
- Manage products throughout their lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life.
- Monitor portfolio performance against revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Recommend product repositioning, rationalisation, or retirement based on commercial performance.
- Coordinate end-of-life activities with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a balanced and competitive product portfolio aligned with business strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, or other commercial/product-related roles.
- Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, FMCG durable goods, consumer products, or e-commerce is highly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and build product business cases.
- Experience conducting market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy.
- Comfortable working with data to make product decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Self-driven, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
