Role Summary
The
Assistant Vice President – Enterprise Reconciliation is a senior domain leadership role responsible for driving the enterprise reconciliation strategy using
FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM). The role requires a deep subject matter expert who serves as both
Creator and Curator of the DIM platform—designing, building, governing, and continuously enhancing reconciliation solutions across the organization.
This role combines
hands-on DIM solution design,
demand and delivery management, and
technical innovation. The AVP will manage a team of DIM configurators, oversee the reconciliation demand pipeline, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery. A strong
Python programming background is a significant advantage, as the role is also expected to design and implement Python-based automation solutions to enhance reconciliation efficiency and controls.
Key Responsibilities
DIM Platform & Domain Ownership
- Own and govern the enterprise reconciliation framework on FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM).
- Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for DIM architecture, reconciliation design, and data integrity controls.
- Define standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks for reconciliation solutions.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and operational risk requirements.
Solution Design & Configuration
- Hands-on design and build of complex and high-risk reconciliation solutions in DIM.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Business Enablers and Project Managers in end-to-end project life cycles
- Review, guide, and approve reconciliation configurations developed by team members.
- Optimize reconciliation logic, matching rules, exception workflows, and data transformations.
- Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for chronic or critical reconciliation breaks.
Demand & Delivery Management
- Own the reconciliation demand intake, prioritization, and delivery roadmap.
- Allocate work and manage delivery across DIM configurators reporting into the role.
- Track project progress, delivery quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Act as the escalation point for delivery, performance, and design-related issues.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DIM configurators and reconciliation specialists.
- Drive capability building through training, standards, and knowledge sharing.
- Establish delivery KPIs, quality benchmarks, and performance metrics.
Automation & Python Development
- Design and develop Python-based automation solutions to:
- Automate data preparation and validation
- Enhance reconciliation efficiency and scalability
- Improve exception analysis, reporting, and dashboards
- Reduce manual effort and operational risk
- Integrate Python solutions with DIM, upstream data sources, and downstream reporting tools.
- Promote an automation-first mindset across the reconciliation function.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Audit stakeholders.
- Translate business reconciliation requirements into scalable DIM solutions.
- Manage vendor interactions with FIS for platform enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.
- Represent the reconciliation domain in governance and leadership forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory
- Extensive experience in enterprise reconciliation within banking, financial services, or large-scale data environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM).
- Proven experience managing reconciliation delivery and leading specialist teams.
- Deep understanding of data integrity, controls, and operational risk.
Preferred / Strong Plus
- Python programming experience, particularly for automation or data processing.
- Experience integrating DIM with databases, data warehouses, or analytics tools.
- Exposure to scripting, automation frameworks, or DevOps practices.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline- .Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus

Relevant Work Experience
Overall Experience
8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise reconciliation, financial operations, or finance technology, preferably within banking, capital markets, or large financial services organizations

Domain & Reconciliation Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in- :Enterprise-scale reconciliations (cash, positions, balances, transactions, suspense accounts)
- .High-volume, high-complexity data reconciliation environments
- .Exception management, break resolution, and root-cause analysis
- .Proven experience implementing strong data integrity controls and reconciliation governance frameworks
- .Direct exposure to audit, risk, and regulatory requirements related to reconciliations

FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM) Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM), including- :Designing and configuring complex reconciliation rules and matching logic
- .Managing data sources, transformations, and enrichment within DIM
- .Building reusable reconciliation templates and frameworks
- .Performance tuning and optimization of DIM jobs
- .Experience acting as a DIM platform lead or domain owner is highly desirable
- .Prior experience working directly with FIS for upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution

Leadership & Delivery Experience
3+ years of experience in- :Leading reconciliation or finance technology teams
- .Managing demand intake, prioritization, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
- .Mentoring and reviewing work of configuration or development teams
- .Experience functioning as an escalation point for complex delivery or production issues
