JOB SUMMARY
Asset Improvement (Associate III) Responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of CAPEX and OPEX projects, including engineering design preparation, Bills of Quantities, site inspections, and technical assessments. Provides support in tender and contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and project progress reporting in compliance with SPAN Uniform Technical Guidelines (UTG).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, coordinate and execute assigned project including CAPEX and OPEX works under the guidance of the senior project engineer.
- Assist in preparing engineering design, Method Statement, work schedule and technical documentation.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and assist in budgeting for project activities.
- Conduct site inspection, data collection and technical assessment to support project implementation.
- Support tender and contract administration including document preparation and coordination with contractors.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including internal teams and external parties to support project delivery.
- Assist in reporting project progress, technical finding and issues to the senior project engineer/ Manager for decision making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Experience at least 3 years
Knowledge
- Technical knowledge of water supply infrastructure, including pipelines, pumping systems, reservoirs, and associated civil works
- Strong understanding of CAPEX and OPEX project execution within the water industry
- Ability to monitor project progress, identify technical issues, and support corrective actions
