Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation + Manual Tester to join our client's technology.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in both manual and automation testing, with a solid background in the banking domain, particularly Digital Banking and Retail Banking. Experience using AI-powered testing tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks.
• Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects until closure.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure software quality and compliance with banking standards and best practices.
• Utilize AI-powered testing tools to improve test efficiency, coverage, and defect detection.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, or similar.
• Good knowledge of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Domain Experience (Mandatory)

• Banking experience is mandatory.
• Strong exposure to Digital Banking and/or Retail Banking projects.
• Experience in banking applications such as internet banking, mobile banking, payments, CASA, loans, cards, or customer onboarding is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., Copilot, Testim AI, Functionize, Mabl, or similar).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to performance or security testing is an added advantage.
