Automation Tester

Understand the application, business process and test cases
Work with business analyst and Client application team to clarify issues
Prepare the test data
Performs both manual and automation task including performance testing
Modify Automation framework as per application requirement and implement solution
Develop Automation Scripts as per schedule
Execute Automation Scripts and verify the test results along with business users
Peer Review of automation scripts and ensure its working
Business users to execute Automation Scripts and Verify them
Ensure open issues are closed appropriately, escalations as necessary
Understand business requirements and application
Understand the business process respective business functions followed
Work with business analyst and Client application team to clarify issues
Develop business scenarios, Prepare Test Cases, Execute Test Cases
Log Defects, Analyze defects, Co-ordinate with development team to resolve defects
Prepare the estimation and schedule for respective modules
Support in Automation Execution
Tracking the progress/productivity
Manual Tester need to commit to test 20-40 test cases per day with a test step of 10-18 with screen shot
Manual Tester need to commit to test 20-25 test cases per day with a test step of 18-50 with screen shot
Automation Tester need to commit to develop 15- test case using UFT per day when it is straightforward scenario
Automation Tester need to commit to develop 10-20 test case using UFT per day when it is straightforward scenario
Tester need to perform both manual and automation testing and perform all the roles stated under the service requirement
Develop the Performance related process, methodologies as part of TCOE Implementation
Responsible for understanding the application and technical architecture
Prepare Performance Test plan
Load Test Planning, Work Load Analysis, Volume Metrics
Prepare Schedule and estimates for each application
Prepare high level test design document
Develop performance test scripts and execute scripts
Execute performance testing, analyse bottle necks, provide recommendations
