Job Description


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis to reports submitting to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Management and Group HO within the stipulated timeframes
  • Support timely submission of the regulatory returns/reports, and to ensure the reporting requirements/ guidelines are complied with.
  • Provide support on queries/issues relating to financial reporting to external auditor and other stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participate in the implementation of new and enhancement of accounting standards or reporting requirements as required by governing bodies.
  • Ensure financial accounting practices are in accordance with the Group's and local's accounting policies
  • Maintain good relationship with external auditor as well as with regulatory authorities
  • Provide feedback to improve the efficiency and quality in reporting
  • Involve in the development of new systems which may directly or indirectly affect our reports.
  • Assist and work closely with business functions to deliver an effective financial analysis for Management
  • Work closely with the external auditors and liaise with business functions for the resolution of audit findings/issues
  • Responsible for the timely closing of the books for the Bank (both Conventional and Islamic banking) and its subsidiaries


Job Requirements

  • Possess a degree in Accounting / Finance or professional qualifications with established professional accounting bodies
  • Knowledge in financial and regulatory reporting in bank and knowledgeable and familiar with accounting standard requirements
  • Minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant working experience
