Role Description
Plans, develops, and executes comprehensive education and technical training programmes, including modular lessons and continuous development initiatives, to strengthen the quality of knowledge, technical skills, treatment standards, and customer service across AsterSpring centres.
- Develops structured training modules covering product knowledge, treatment protocols, technical skills, consultation and customer service excellence.
- Creates and continuously reviews treatment protocols and training standards to ensure consistency, safety, quality, and alignment across all centres.
- Identifies learning gaps and implements targeted education programmes to continuously enhance therapist competency and service quality.
- Partners with relevant stakeholders to research, evaluate, and introduce new treatment innovations, technologies, and techniques to keep the Company at the forefront of the beauty and aesthetic industry.
- Supports the launch and implementation of new treatments, including technical training, protocol development, treatment demonstrations, and competency assessments.
- Drives continuous improvement in education standards through regular evaluation, feedback, and performance monitoring.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in beauty therapy, skincare or hair care techniques, with the ability to demonstrate and teach treatments and product usage effectively.
- Experience in training, coaching, or facilitation, including preparing training materials and delivering structured workshops or classes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills to support salon partners, retail teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Good organizational and time management skills, including planning training schedules and maintaining accurate training records.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., presentation software, video conferencing platforms) for training and reporting.
- Relevant certification or diploma in beauty therapy, cosmetology, aesthetics, or a related field; teaching or trainer certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in the professional beauty, wellness, or FMCG skincare industry is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam and travel when required within the region.
