Job Description

ViewQwest is an award-winning provider of connectivity, managed network, and cybersecurity services operating across Southeast Asia. We connect enterprises and businesses with secure, high-performance network solutions, and we are building out our bid function to win more.

About the Role

You will own the end-to-end bid and tender process across all ViewQwest markets. This means driving RFP/RFQ/RFI responses from qualification to submission, coordinating inputs from Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance, and producing proposals that are accurate, compelling, and on time. This is a hands-on role for someone who writes well, runs a tight process, and understands how enterprise networking and connectivity solutions are sold.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full bid lifecycle: from bid/no-bid qualification through to final submission and post-bid follow-up.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs from Sales, Product, Solutions Architecture, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to produce complete, compliant proposals.
  • Write, edit, and quality-assure proposal documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professional presentation at every submission.
  • Build and maintain a bid content library: capability statements, case studies, standard responses, compliance declarations, and reusable templates.
  • Prepare pricing schedules and cost models in collaboration with Product and Finance, ensuring commercial competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Manage bid timelines, track deliverables, and ensure all submissions meet RFP/RFQ/RFI deadlines without exception.
  • Maintain a bid tracker covering all opportunities, outcomes, win/loss ratios, and lessons learned.
  • Drive continuous improvement in bid governance, proposal templates, and process standards.
  • Liaise with customers and procurement teams on clarification queries and presentation scheduling throughout the tender process.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, pre-sales support, or a coordination-heavy commercial role.
  • Working knowledge of IP networking, enterprise networking, routing and switching, or cybersecurity, gained through bid support, presales, technical sales, or network pricing roles. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must understand the products well enough to write about them accurately and price them credibly.
  • Strong written English: you can produce clear, structured, and persuasive documents under deadline pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent bids across competing deadlines.
  • Experienced in cross-functional stakeholder coordination, comfortable working across Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Finance in a multi-country environment.
  • Self-starter with a process-improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools is a plus.

Bonus Points

  • Direct experience in IT, telecommunications, managed network services, or cybersecurity industries.
  • Familiarity with enterprise or government procurement processes in Southeast Asia.
  • Exposure to CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and document management systems.
  • APMP Foundation certification or equivalent bid and proposal management training.
  • Prior experience supporting presales teams on RFP/RFQ responses in a networking or connectivity context.
