JOB SUMMARY
The BMS Engineer will report to the Systems Manager and serve as the key technical point of contact for Building Management Systems (BMS) and related facility management systems. The role is responsible for reviewing system designs, providing technical clarifications, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the successful implementation and operation of building management and mission-critical facility systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of BMS, EPMS, FMCS, or DCIM systems, along with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, fire protection, and security systems within data centre or other mission-critical environments.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for BMS and related system matters.
- Review BMS, EPMS, FMCS, DCIM, and other building management system designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical clarifications and recommendations to support system design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders on system-related technical matters.
- Support the implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BMS and associated systems.
- Monitor system performance and support the identification and resolution of technical issues.
- Ensure system implementation aligns with project requirements, operational standards, and applicable technical specifications.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure the reliability and availability of critical facility systems.
- Support the integration and coordination of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control, fire protection, security, and other building systems.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical reports, system documentation, operating procedures, and other relevant records.
- Utilise data and reporting tools to support system monitoring, analysis, performance improvement, and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, operational, and technical standards.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Instrumentation and Control
- Building Services
- or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in BMS, EPMS, FMCS, DCIM, or related building and facility management systems.
- Experience in data centre or other mission-critical facility design, operations, maintenance, or systems implementation.
- Strong understanding of:

- SCADA

- Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple technical matters in a fast-paced and mission-critical environment
