Job description :
Maintain and operates the boilers, as well as ensures good functioning of the fire systems and water supply for the boiler Execute the high pressure (65barg) steam boiler Follow the daily routines, in order to ensure the boiler(s) run in good conditions and without interruption Knows the health, safety, environment & housekeeping procedures and rules, operates in accordance with them, alerts risks, participates to risk analyses Operates the boiler, the waste water treatment plant and other utilities in an efficient, safe and environmental friendly manner Prepares chemicals for the boiler and other utilities and monitors the respective chemical inventory Constantly monitors utilities (boiler, fire hydrant, water supply, nitrogen consumption, air compressors, etc) and components (filter press) related to the boiler Performs cleaning work for all kinds of tanks during shutdown and cleans filter press cloth. Performs loading activity of pitch oil to pitch tanker Performs housekeeping in boiler house and waste water treatment plant
Job qualifications :
Possess at least SPM equivalent or higher MUST possess a Certificate of Boilerman Grade 2 issued by DOSH (JKKP) Have at least a minimum of 3-4 years of related working experience Knowledge in Microsoft word, excel will be an asset Experience in using a forklift is an asset Willing to work during festivals and or call-in to back-up colleagues Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage Responsible and able to work independently Able to work shift Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Klang
