Role Description
- Lead full outlet operations and drive monthly revenue targets
- Oversee daily branch operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store presentation
- Manage, train, and motivate branch staff to hit sales and service targets
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and reduce shrinkage through proper inventory control
- Handle customer complaints and escalations that staff can't resolve
- Ensure the branch complies with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local trading laws
- Plan staff rosters and manage leave, recruitment, and performance reviews
- Identify opportunities to grow branch revenue, whether through promotions, upselling, or local marketing
- Maintain the visual merchandising standards expected of Wiltek stores
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong understanding of inventory management and point-of-sale systems
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage conflicting priorities under pressure
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage, but not mandatory if experience is strong
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Fluent in Mandarin and English -this branch serves a large Chinese-speaking community and staff need to communicate comfortably with customers in Mandarin
- Able to read and interpret branch sales data, spot when numbers are slipping, and proactively find ways to turn things around
