All about the role:

Support on the area of Sales & Margin, Marketing Spending and Transportation & Warehousing costs reporting and ensure report provided to stakeholders on timely and accurate basis.

What youu2019ll do:

Management Reporting and Analysis

  • Provide daily, weekly, and quarterly reports that track revenues and gross profit by business units / product line or geographical region including:
  • Sales and margin including product pricing and standard cost via PPV/Price/ASP analysis
  • Channel and Customer profitability (Cost to Serve)
  • Develop and maintain database source of sales reporting
  • Provide timely management report which accurately reflect performance of the operations (such as branch P&Ls, A&P spend by expense type/campaigns, T&W etc.) including in-depth analysis to ensure integrity of results across all product lines, branches, departments including co-ordination with Shared Service Center on proper cost allocation.
  • Assist in evaluating sales/marketing campaign from financial perspective- A&P spend analysis and ROI for pre & post event.
  • Provide timely and accurate respond to ad-hoc request as and when required by management / regional office

Financial Closing & Reporting

  • Review accuracy of financial accounts and ensure reasonableness and adequacy of expenses, accruals, or provisions by close co-ordination with Shared Service Center to ensure timely closing of accounts and reporting to regional.
  • Review Balance Sheet Schedules and ensure proper post-closing follow up of outstanding items by respective responsible person(s) including review of key customers trading terms to ensure proper provision
  • Liaison with Shared Service Center on matters relating to accounting and reporting

Budget and Forecast

  • Assist to co-ordinate annual budget/ quarterly forecast exercise
  • Interact with the sales/marketing and other departments on the forecast, actual, budget and business metrics on sales, gross profit and other departmental expenses.
  • Develop and consolidate forecast and budget package
  • Conduct analysis of the Financing forecast, budget, actual, and business dynamics to track and monitor variance and highlight on areas of risks/opportunities.

Finance Operations/Compliances and others

  • Assist in finance operations matters including observing stock takes, write off exercises, annual fixed asset sighting, verification of claims from third party, claims for HODs.
  • Assist in audit, tax, admin matters as necessary (e.g. insurance, tenancy, agreements, document management, etc.)
  • Finance Transformation Project u2013 Country representative for FR&A.

Who you are:

  • Degree with a concentration in a business-related field (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.) is required
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting /analysis.
  • Technical and working experience with financial IT systems from a detailed to consolidation perspective
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Knowledgeable in SAP system
  • MNC Experience in retail and FMCG industry
  • Strong in financial concepts, analytical, good in problem solving skills & result oriented with the right sense of urgency.
  • Able to work independently, requiring minimum supervision, a hands-on person.
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work with all levels of staff
  • Able to handle stress in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Has the personal courage to recommend and make difficult decision.
  • Matured, confident, and a team player with good communication skills to all related parties
