Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation of business requirements, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure business requirements are aligned with project objectives, business proposals, and organizational goals.
• Lead requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, business process reviews, and solution design sessions using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Perform business process analysis, including current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) state assessments, Fit/Gap analysis, and process improvement recommendations.
• Provide strategic recommendations by aligning Salesforce capabilities with client business needs and industry best practices.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Consultants, Developers, and Project Managers to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Review and validate functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure completeness and business value.
• Create, prioritize, and maintain user stories, epics, and backlog items in JIRA throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, while coordinating and supporting business users during testing.
• Lead UAT activities, manage defect resolution with technical teams, and obtain business sign-off prior to deployment.
• Coordinate release readiness activities, including training materials, user guides, release documentation, and post Go-Live support.
• Facilitate end-user training sessions and changemanagement activities to ensure successful user adoption.
• Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, business models, and other documentation to support project delivery and operational improvements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively escalate concerns to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Work with project teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, project timelines, and client expectations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior Business Analysts and project team members.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Salesforce products, business analysis methodologies, and emerging technologies through professional certifications and learning initiatives.
• Support pre-sales activities by participating in solution discussions, requirement discovery sessions, and proposal development when required.
• Track project performance and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives across project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout project engagements.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems management or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8 years of implementation or professional services experience at a SaaS company
• Ability to speak and write in English & Bahasa Melayu fluently
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail
• Proven working experience in business consulting for IT Projects
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Experience in Agile Project Management method is a plus
• Certification in Salesforce is a plus
