OB DESCRIPTION - BUSINESS ANALYST/ FUNCTIONAL TESTER
A. JOB PURPOSE:
Perform testing procedures on the Application Software and ensure all errors are identified and corrected before release to clients.

B. JOB SUMMARY / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Roles - The roles are a mix of educator, instructor, tester, best practices and productivity coach, skills assessor and training material designer for the New System.
a. Understanding application requirements;
b. Contributing in Test Plan preparation;
c. Deriving Test Scenarios /Out lines;
d. Documenting Test Case;
e. Updating Traceability Matrices Document;
f. Collecting Test Data;
g. Creating Test Batches;
h. Executing Test Cases;
i. Reporting defects;
j. Tracking defects;
k. Collect Test Metrics;
l. Selecting Test Cases for Retesting & Regression Testing;
m. Executing Regression Tests;
n. Modifying Test Cases (if required).
