Job Description

[Job Overview]

Responsible for driving new business development, building strategic customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the construction/project business.

Lead client engagement to understand project requirements, develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Maintain strong market awareness and contribute to business strategy through market/competitor analysis.

[Key Responsibilities]

1. Business Development & Client Management

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities, target clients, and potential projects
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  3. Lead client presentations, proposal discussions, and business negotiations

2. Tender & Proposal Management

  1. Lead the preparation of tender documents, proposals, and cost estimations
  2. Coordinate with internal departments (design, engineering, procurement) to ensure high-quality submissions
  3. Manage tender timelines and submission processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

3. Client Engagement & Tender Participation

  1. Represent the company in client meetings, pre-tender briefings, and tender presentations
  2. Lead presentation delivery and commercial discussions with clients
  3. Drive follow-up actions and stakeholder management throughout bidding processes

4. Project Coordination & Execution Support

  1. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients
  2. Manage issue escalation and coordinate resolution between clients and internal teams
  3. Ensure effective communication and documentation throughout project execution

5. Reporting & Team Coordination

  1. Prepare and present pipeline, sales, and tender status reports to management
  2. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and delivery
  3. Support and mentor junior team members where applicable

Business trip and visiting site is required depends on the project.

MUST TO HAVE:

Proficiency in Japanese N2 level

Bachelor of relevant engineering or Architecture, QS, Construction management

Minimum 4-5 year sales experience in construction industry

Own car
