If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Business Development Director, Group & Digital Affinity.

The Role:

  • Executes business plan and strategies in order to achieve the assigned sales target for Group Multiple Benefits Insurance Scheme (GMBIS)
  • Builds and maintains relationship with agent / broker / intermediary / business partner to solicit for business opportunities and productivity
  • Work closely with agency force to prioritize and maximize agency business growth
  • Actively involved in Business Presentation to potential clients and Corporate Clients
  • Manages agent to drive sales and track the agent sales performance on monthly basis to ensure sales target is met
  • Designs sales campaigns / challenges to motivate agents to increase productivities.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholder such as Group Admin, Claims, Actuarial, and others departments on business related issues
  • Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
  • Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree and above in any discipline and/or related
  • Possess minimum 5 years of sales experience in Insurance / Banking industry
  • Strong interpersonal skill and able to connect to mass market
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Highly motivated, success driven and able to work independently
  • Willing to learn and adapt to challenging environment
  • Willing to travel
  • Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English language will be advantage
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
