Business Development Manager

About the role

Dahua Malaysia, a leading provider of innovative security solutions, is seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our team in Malaysia. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our product sales. Malaysia (Klang Valley / Penang)

What you'll be doing

1. Conduct market analysis and develop strong market insights to accurately identify and target key customer segments.

2. Establish and maintain relationships with customers, conduct opportunity identification and exploration, manage opportunity tracking, and oversee order closure to drive incremental business growth.

3. Own and manage the customer pipeline, and maintain the training management.

4. Develop and maintain relationships with government / enterprise / channel partners, delivering training coverage and capability enablement.

5. Maintain and enhance customer mapping (account sandbox), analyze competitive landscapes, and execute competitive displacement strategies.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Marketing related major is a must

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners

3. Proven track record of success in a channel sales/ business development/ technical sales role, preferably within the security (CCTV product) or technology industry

4. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities

5. Strong critical thinking and result-oriented mindset
