Business Research and Development Executive (ICT & Financial Business Dept)

This position is responsible for conducting market research, identifying investment opportunities, and supporting business development initiatives in the ICT and Financial Business sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to explore new business opportunities and prepare business proposals for management.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify the latest and emerging trends in the ICT and Financial Business industries.

Conduct market research on investment opportunities and potential new business ventures.

Liaise and communicate with external consultants, ICT companies, financial institutions, banks, and telecommunications companies.

Prepare presentations and proposals for investment opportunities and project finance initiatives.

Prepare industry reports and market analysis related to the ICT and Financial Business sectors.

Support new business development initiatives and strategic projects.

Perform other ad hoc business-related duties assigned by management.

MUST TO HAVE:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

4-10 years of relevant working experience in the ICT and/or Financial Business industry.

Strong command of written and spoken English.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.

Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and explore new technologies and business opportunities.

Nice TO HAVE:

Knowledge of AI, digital technologies, or other advanced ICT trends.

Interest in ICT, innovation, and emerging technologies.

Understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) and technology-related businesses.

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python is an advantage.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin Chinese will be an added advantage.
