As a Business Systems Analyst at Lam, you'll analyze complex business problems and craft automated system solutions for Logistics & Global Warehousing. You'll bridge gaps, provide technical expertise to translate business requirements into functional system specifications. Your contributions within dynamic cross-functional teams are essential in supporting Lam's Digital transformation journey.
As a critical member of the Global Operations team, you will be the adding strength as a SAP Logistics Execution (LE) resource. You will have the opportunity to evaluate and optimize systems and resources, manage re-engineering initiatives and ensure alignment with business growth objectives
What You'll Do
SAP ECC & S/4HANA:
- Maintenance of all the As-Is solutions in SAP LE/WM and integration areas.
- Plan, design, and execute the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, focusing on Logistics and Warehouse Management.
- Identify and manage gaps, changes, and enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and provide functional expertise, guidance, and solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
- Logistic and WM Configuration:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP LE/WM modules.
- Reconfigure or optimize LE and WM modules to bridge the gap between ECC and S/4 environment.
- Work with technical teams to manage adaptations for Business Processes, reporting, workflows, and analytics in cross systems environment.
- Process Optimization and Design:
- Analyze and suggest optimizations to Logistic/WM business processes and operations.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption during S/4 HANA migration and go-live phases.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement in the processes.
- Cross-Module Integrations:
- Ensure seamless integration of LE/WM modules with other key modules such as SCM, Planning and Manufacturing.
- Collaborate with business process owners, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration between Order management, planning, forecasting and logistics.
- Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
- Work closely with business SMEs, leaders, and IT teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Training, Testing and Documentation:
- Develop and execute test cases for processes to validate system functionality in synchronization with planned objectives.
- Document all configurations, process changes, and new functionalities to ensure alignment and future reference.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance user adoption and understanding of new systems and process
Minimum Qualifications
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years overall SAP experience with 5+ years of experience with Logistics; specifically hands-on configuration in SAP ECC
- Participation in at least one end-to-end project (analysis, design, config/development build, test, deployment including training and data conversion)
- Hands-on implementation experience in the following SAP modules: MM-IM - Inventory Management WM - Warehouse Management LE - Logistics Execution
- Implementation experience in the following is a plus EWM - Extended Warehouse Management LE-SHP - Logistics Execution / Shipping LE-TRA - Logistics Execution / Transportation
- Knowledge of some of the following modules: PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales and Distribution), MM-PUR (Purchasing)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to support complex, cross-functional processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in ECC / S4 WM, EWM is highly desirable.
- Experience in global SAP implementations or rollouts, with complex multi-system interfaces.
- Business process knowledge in Manufacturing industry.
- Project management knowledge or experience is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
