Serve as the main lead for partnerships with local acquirers, wallets, PSPs, payment solution providers, and other channels to drive adoption and revenue growth through QR and NFC payments.
Oversee Malaysia and Indonesia national payment switches to ensure smooth operations and enable cross-border partner integrations.
Drive quarterly sessions to review high-performing acquirers merchant performance and revenue growth, and develop account penetration strategies to identify and build new key account opportunities.
Leverage a deep understanding of the local market, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape to formulate and execute in-country strategies aligned with business needs and management priorities.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to manage partnerships end-to-end, ensuring seamless project execution, continuous improvement of delivery platforms, and full compliance with regulatory and risk requirements.
Collaborate closely with merchandising and growth teams to drive high-impact performance and innovation in solutions and campaigns for partners.
Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial drive, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining accountability and ownership.
Requirement
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to payments, e-commerce, or retail industries; a finance and/or technology background is a strong advantage.
Strong strategic thinking with a global perspective, coupled with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Highly resilient and execution-driven, with a proven ability to operate effectively in volatile, fast-paced environments while maintaining clarity, composure, and consistent performance under pressure.
Fluent in English; local language skills (Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia) and Mandarin are a plus.
