Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,000

MYFutureJobs is currently assisting an employer in Seremban to source suitable candidates for the position of B0 Chargeman.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot HV and LV electrical systems including switchgears, transformers, generators, motors, MCC panels and distribution boards.

• Ensure reliable power supply to incinerators, turbines, boilers and auxiliary plant systems.

• Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.

• Respond to power failures, electrical faults and plant emergencies.

• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and applicable statutory regulations.

• Maintain required licences, permits and compliance documentation for HV electrical systems.

• Implement electrical safety procedures including LOTO and Permit-to-Work.

• Conduct risk assessments for HV and LV maintenance activities.

• Support the Senior Executive E&I in monitoring electrical system performance, breakdowns and abnormalities.

• Work closely with mechanical, process and operations teams to maintain plant uptime and process continuity.

Requirements:

• Valid B0 Chargeman competency/certification recognised by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

• Experience in HV and LV electrical systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and electrical maintenance knowledge.

• Familiar with electrical safety, LOTO and Permit-to-Work requirements.

• Experience in industrial, power generation, process plant or similar environments will be an advantage.

• Able to work in Seremban.
