Role Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving theCompany's financial strategy, governance, and performance. The role requires strong public listed company experience, deep understanding of share planning and equity structures, and the ability to support growth through disciplined capital management and mergers&acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute theCompany's financial strategy aligned withoverallbusinessobjectivesand shareholder value creation.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management in compliance with listing rules and regulatory requirements.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and interpretation to guide senior management in making strategic decisions.
- Ensuretimelyandaccuratefinancial statementsin accordance withapplicable accounting standards.
- Manage capital structure, funding strategies, and project financing for construction, propertydevelopmentandprojects expansion.
- Lead share planning activities, including equity structure management, share-based incentive schemes, and compliance with stock exchange requirements.
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, drive and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and post-deal integration.
- Overseethe Company'scash flow, treasury, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Implement robust financial controls, risk management frameworks, and governance standardsto mitigate financial and operational risk
- Lead investor relations, including engagement with shareholders, analysts, regulators, and external auditors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor'sDegree inAccounting,Finance,Business, or related field; MBA orMaster'spreferred.
- Professionalqualificationsuch as CertifiedPublicAccountant (CPA), CharteredAccountant (CA), or CharteredFinancialAnalyst (CFA)preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Mandatory experience in a publicly listed company, withstrongknowledge of capital markets and regulatory reporting.
- Proven experience in share planning, equity management, and share-based incentive schemes.
- Hands-on experience in mergers and acquisitions is a strong advantage.
- Industry experience in construction, property development, real estate, orautomated warehousesolutionspreferred.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
