The Opportunity
This is more than a CFO role, it's a chance to be at the helm of a company's transformation into a publicly listed entity. You'll partner directly with the CEO and Board to shape financial strategy, strengthen the organisation's financial backbone, and lead the IPO from the ground up. What You'll Own:
- Strategic Leadership – Shape and execute financial strategies that power the company's long-term vision and growth ambitions.
- Financial Planning & Analysis – Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to underpin sustainable expansion.
- Governance & Compliance – Uphold the highest standards of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Risk & Regulatory Management – Proactively identify and manage financial risk in a dynamic regulatory landscape.
- Team Leadership – Build and inspire a high-performing finance team grounded in accountability and excellence.
- IPO Leadership – Own the end-to-end IPO journey, from pre-IPO readiness through to successful listing.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced qualifications a strong plus).
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within hospitality or a related consumer-facing industry.
- Proven success partnering with executive leadership and Boards, with hands-on experience in IPO completion, banker relationship management, fundraising, and tax planning.
- Trilingual proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- A strategic mindset paired with strong leadership, communication, and analytical acumen.
