Cloud Engineer – Azure & OCR Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud Engineering and Enterprise OCR / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). The successful candidate will architect, build, and support scalable, secure OCR solutions using Azure AI Document Intelligence and integrate them across core business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• OCR Solution Architecture: Design and implement secure, reusable Enterprise OCR/IDP solution patterns aligned with enterprise IT and data governance standards.
• Azure Platform Engineering: Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure OCR environments leveraging Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer), Azure Cognitive Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Storage, Data Factory, and Key Vault.
• Integration & Automation: Build robust REST APIs and automated document processing pipelines connecting OCR platforms with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, SAP, SharePoint, Workflow Engines).
• Security & Governance: Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), encryption, secret management, and audit logging to ensure strict security and regulatory compliance.
• Operations & Support: Monitor platform performance, throughput, and accuracy. Provide tier-3 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and operational support for production OCR systems.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Solution Engineering.
• OCR / IDP Depth: Proven track record in designing and deploying Enterprise OCR / Document Processing workflows.
• Technical Stack: * Azure Services: Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer), Cognitive Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python, C#, or .NET.
• Integration: REST APIs, Event-driven architecture, and database/storage workflows.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong stakeholder management, and ability to lead technical architecture discussions in enterprise environments.
