Job Responsibilities
1. Overseas Business Development
- Responsible for market research, client engagement, and channel management for MEP engineering, cleanroom facilities, and industrial construction projects in the Malaysian market.
- Identify and develop potential project opportunities and resources.
- Develop overseas market expansion strategies and achieve business development targets.
2. End-to-End Tender & Bidding Management
- Independently manage the entire bidding process for overseas projects, including tender document preparation, review, compilation, sealing, and submission.
- Ensure accurate management of key bidding elements, including commercial terms, pricing structures, qualification documents, and other relevant materials.
- Improve bid success rates and ensure the quality of awarded projects.
3. Contract Negotiation & Performance Management
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract drafting, term negotiations, and contract signing for overseas projects.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks while clearly defining the rights and obligations of both parties, payment terms, and contractual performance boundaries.
- Follow up on pre-project commercial execution and coordinate with domestic and overseas teams to resolve commercial issues.
4. Commercial Documentation & Business Records Management
- Organize and archive overseas project tender documents, contracts, quotations, and client records.
- Establish and maintain commercial business records, while continuously updating market intelligence, project developments, and competitor information.
- Provide reliable data and business insights to support the company's overseas business decisions.
5. Overseas Client Engagement & Communication
- Take full responsibility for business communication with overseas clients, partners, and overseas offices/representative institutions.
- Independently conduct business communication in English, including meetings, negotiations, email correspondence, and on-site coordination.
- Ensure efficient and smooth progress of commercial activities throughout overseas projects.
6. Support Project Implementation & Delivery
- Coordinate with the company's technical, engineering, and operations & maintenance teams.
- Follow up on pre-project commercial coordination, commercial changes during project execution, settlement and payment coordination, and other related matters.
- Ensure smooth implementation and contractual performance of overseas projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Industry Background – Mandatory
- Background in the construction industry, with a solid professional foundation in MEP engineering and comprehensive knowledge of the entire process of industrial construction and MEP installation.
- Candidates with commercial experience in cleanroom facilities, semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, or new energy manufacturing projects are strongly preferred and will be considered a major advantage.
- Candidates without experience in MEP engineering or the construction industry are kindly requested not to apply.
2. Core Skills – Required
- Proven experience in engineering project tender document preparation, end-to-end bidding management, contract negotiation, contract review, and commercial pricing/quotation.
- Ability to independently manage the full tendering, bidding, and contract management process for overseas projects.
- Familiarity with commercial practices, pricing standards, and industry regulations in building MEP and cleanroom engineering.
3. Language Skills – Mandatory
- Fluent English with the ability to conduct business negotiations, client communication, on-site discussions, and tender/contract review and drafting entirely in English.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to independently handle professional business scenarios in overseas markets.
4. Experience & Professional Competencies
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial/business development roles within the building MEP, cleanroom engineering, or related industries.
- Overseas engineering business experience is highly preferred.
- Strong capabilities in commercial negotiation, risk management, communication, and cross-functional coordination.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with overseas engineering business processes and fundamental principles of international cooperation.
5. Education
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Majors in Engineering Management, MEP Engineering, Construction, Business, or related fields are preferred.
