The impact you'll make
This individual contributor role will focus on developing and executing executive and employee communications that inform, align, and engage employees across the Global Operations organization.
The successful candidate will bring strong writing judgment, audience understanding, project management discipline, and comfort working through ambiguity. They will partner closely with communications teammates, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to produce clear, credible, and engaging content; support frontline manufacturing employee communications; manage projects across multiple sites and time zones; and use data and feedback to improve communications effectiveness.

What You'll Do
- Develop and execute communications plans that support Global Operations priorities, employee engagement, leadership alignment, operational moments, and change initiatives.
- Create clear, engaging content across multiple formats and channels, including email, intranet articles, leadership messages, presentations, digital signage, event materials, talking points, Q&A, and other employee communications.
- Support executive and leader communications for Global Operations, including messaging, presentations, employee meeting materials, organizational announcements, and external-facing executive communications when needed.
- Translate complex business, technical, or operational topics into simple, credible narratives that resonate with diverse employee audiences, including frontline, manufacturing, office-based, and global teams.
- Plan and manage communications projects across multiple sites, countries, stakeholders, and time zones, keeping work organized while adapting quickly as priorities shift.
- Partner with local, regional, and global communications colleagues to adapt and localize programs and campaigns for relevant audiences.
- Apply an audience-centric lens to communications planning, with particular attention to manufacturing and deskless employees who may need practical, bite-sized, and accessible messages.
- Support employee engagement activities, social impact communications, community programs, and other initiatives that strengthen connection to Lam's culture and values.
- Use data, feedback, and channel performance insights to improve communications planning, execution, and measurement.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across functions and regions, bringing structure, sound judgment, collaboration, and agility to communications work.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 10-12 years of experience in corporate communications, employee communications, executive communications, marketing communications, public relations, or a related function.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop clear, audience-relevant content for different channels and employee groups.
- Experience working in a multinational, matrixed, or fast-paced business environment with stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, stay focused on priorities, and reprioritize quickly when business needs shift.
- Comfortable working with leaders and subject matter experts to clarify messages, shape narratives, and produce high-quality communications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience working in a SharePoint environment; openness to learning new tools and embracing AI-enabled ways of working
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting senior leaders or executives with internal messaging, presentations, events, employee meetings, or organizational announcements.
- Experience communicating with manufacturing, operations, engineering, or deskless employee audiences.
- Experience in the semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or B2B technology industry.
- Additional language fluency, especially Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, or Korean is an advantage
- Experience with intranet publishing, employee email platforms, digital signage, SharePoint, social advocacy tools, or basic visual/video content creation.
- Experience supporting social impact, community, external communications, or external-facing executive communications.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
