Compliance & Reporting Accounts Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for General Accounting and Compliance
• Drive implementation and enhancement of internal control and policies to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, China GAAP, IFRS, Financial Reporting Standards and other local statutory requirement
• Provide technical support and guidance pertaining to US GAAP, China GAAP, IFRS and local accounting standards, SOX requirements and corporate accounting
• Maintain and improve Accounting Policies and Guidelines.
• Setting up and maintain Company's Accounting Manual.
• Responsible for updates of new and changes in Accounting Standards and other Local Regulations
• Drive the implementation of new accounting standards
• Liase with Internal, SOX and External Auditor

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting and a member of Accounting Professional Body
• Excellent problem solving skills with strong operational and financial judgment.
• High level of integrity, with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and a good team player
• Able to motivate and develop the Finance staff, and inspire confidence
• Good knowledge in General Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
• Knowledge in local statutory requirements, eg Companies Act, Income Tax Act, etc is preferred
• Computer literate and good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Words and Power Point.
• Knowledge in ERP system will be an added advantage.
