About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our in-house construction team. The role is responsible for managing and coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, work schedules, QAQC, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage in-house site teams, consultants, and trade contractors to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee daily site operations covering civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to the approved project budget.
- Coordinate closely with consultants and contractors to resolve design, technical, and site-related issues.
- Supervise and monitor contractors site progress, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements until completion.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with statutory and authority requirements.
- Identify and resolve site issues, construction challenges, and coordination conflicts effectively.
- Conduct and chair internal coordination and site meetings as required.
- Maintain good site housekeeping, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in building construction projects, preferably with developers or main contractors.
- Strong experience in managing site execution and coordinating consultants and contractors.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and local authority requirements.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and represent the developer on-site.
