Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and strategic Contracts Specialist to join our Global Commercial Support Services team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical, end-to-end contractual and operational support to the Sales team, managing all aspects of the contracts process from initiation to finalization. You will act as a dedicated subject matter expert and proactive problem solver to effectively create capacity for the Sales team by expertly handling their diverse contractual needs.
You will join a collaborative, fast-paced team dedicated to driving operational excellence and safeguarding company interests while delivering exceptional support to our global commercial partners.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- End-to-End Contract Management: Manage the full lifecycle of complex contractual documents—including Master Services Agreements, Amendments, pricing schedules, and Statements of Work—ensuring strict accuracy and alignment with company policies.
- Strategic Problem-Solving & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify gaps or contradictions in business specifications, implementing approved non-standard language and strategically balancing customer requests against internal policies to protect company interests.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Product Management, Finance, Sales, Operations, and the Legal Department to secure all necessary reviews and approvals prior to contract finalization.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the swift processing of contracts to efficiently close customer transactions, consistently meeting or exceeding established Service Level Agreements.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- Progressive experience in contracts administration, preferably directly supporting a commercial Sales team within a services or high-tech industry.
- A 3-year college degree (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong knowledge of standard contract provisions (such as liability, confidentiality, and indemnity) with a general understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS), licensed software technologies, and Reseller/Channel partnerships.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and business acumen to accurately interpret operational requirements and translate them into legally sound contractual documents.
- Proven project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, build rapport, and adapt quickly to shifting workloads.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and preferably Salesforce.com.
- Mandatory fluency in English (both written and oral); fluency in additional international languages is highly preferred.
